OUR STORY

DREAMS
The Interesting Eating Company was born in 2012 through two friends & a dream. Andrea & Nichola wanted to create an independent place, suitable for family, friends, business meetings and of course somewhere that serves great food!
Since May 2012, our network of independent eateries grew, but the Covid-19 Pandemic cost us, and many other businesses, their futures.
52 Rose Lane & tusk are still part of our network and we are so thankful to all our customers in Liverpool who keep us thriving!
After 10 years, another change came. Our original Assistant Manager, then Area Manager, Hannah, took over as Owner of TIEC. It was more of an adoption as 117 Allerton Road, had always had a special place in her heart. Her baby, now fully grown into a casita with all it’s own quirks.
We specialise in pancakes and brunch for everyone!
We have Gluten Free & Vegan Options, and will always try our best to accommodate any allergy or intolerance. That’s the great thing about everything being made fresh to order!
We’re a safe space, and pride ourselves on being allies to the LGBT+ community as well as making sure we are as accessible as possible for all our customers, from ramped access to a spacious accessible bathroom, highchairs and space for buggies, as well as doggy treats with donations going towards Freshfield Animal Rescue.
If you’ve made it this far, you deserve to know we do flipping boss pancakes, waffles, milkshakes, breakfast and the odd bacon & sausage buttie too.
Pop in for an iced latte, smoothie or grab your morning brew to take away.
